Our Proprietary Red Wine is a Cabernet Franc focused, Bordeaux-styled wine with lush dark red fruit notes of boysenberry, blackberry and black currant. The palate is robust and textured, backed by Rutherford’s signature fine-grained tannins that lead to a long finish.

Rutherford is home to some of the finest vineyards in Napa Valley. Situated at the widest part of the valley’s floor, the vines enjoy the most sun exposure of any valley appellation. The famous Rutherford Bench, a stretch of deep, well-drained alluvial soils, created by runoff from the Mayacamas Mountains, protects the vines from the heat and imparts complexity and elegance.
